History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Mardred grew up listening to her father's many stories. As a young adult she joined a group advocating for an improvement in Dwarven conditions. Recently a tribe of giants attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Mardred fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: She was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for her. It may also be what makes her so good at details. Cursed with a spirit at a very young age, Leshanna has worked very hard to control her curse. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. He has no love for corruption and racketeering and views those as crimes of the highest magnitude.

History: Bernard lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Like his father and his sister before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Sailor. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Sailor for the past few years.
