History: His mother raised him in a mountain cabin. Az-Bror liked to wander the woods near his home when he was young, something he still likes to do at least once a week. He never liked modest clothing or shoes, so he would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and he developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

Personality: She believes there is no problem she cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. She does not trust anyone and sleeps with one eye open.

History: Valanthe was born in the south. At a young age she loved to build and create. Valanthe was a troubled youth. She spent her days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent her evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Valanthe decided she wanted neither the life of her father nor that of the evil petty criminals she associated with. During her early adolescence, she took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. She inherited the family business which she has now maintained for 8 years.

Description: This woman is bedraggled and starved. She wears very tight pants and wife beaters, though occasionally she sports a grey coat. Her hair is greying and her face has many wrinkles. Her brown eyes have a joyful gleam in them most of the time.

Personality: Eva wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Ranger, so she tries to act the part. She does a good job, for the most part... She is fiercely devoted to her father, and views her father's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating her from her legal half-sister.

History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. She found a children's book about a Human Ranger who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. She modeled her life after the story, seeing herself destined a hero. When her spouse passed she lost her only source of income but claims to her sons to still be retired.

Motivation: She has passion for adventuring and risk; and an old rival family wants her found

Personality: He is quiet and anti-social and can barely make it a few minutes in conversation before his hampering stammer kicks in. His actions favor neither the good nor the evil, as he answers to a power that mortal men fail to acknowledge.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when giants swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Gnomish companion (his 'brother'). When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.
