History: Umpen was raised in a hard working conservative environment. His family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The father sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. He saw this and took pride in his father's willingness to do anything to win. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Dilettante.

Personality: Calm and collected, he is a well trained Barkeep. He has a small toy that he constantly fidgets with.

History: He comes from a rich western family. Like his father and his sister before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Barkeep. He has worked as a Barkeep like his father before him.

Description: A well shaped man just over fifty, he wears a tan coat over a red low-cut shirt, and a top hat upon his head. His hair is long and red with streaks of white, and is pulled back with small tan clips. His beard is white, braided, and well cared for. His gray eyes are desperate and heavily dilated. He has the appearance of someone under the heavy influence of drugs.

Personality: He hates Elves with a passion. As such he is filled with self loathing. He dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. His biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. A serious injury left his father unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm father. His addictions have taken their toll on his wallet, and he has found himself with a great deal of debt owed.

Motivation: He made a deal with a demon which lead to his current lot in life, and he's becoming increasingly nervous about it; and to pay off his debts

Description: She wears a weathered and beat up set of banded mail beneath an oversized yellow coat. Her hair is greying and her face has many wrinkles. Her gray unseeing eyes seem to look past you.

Personality: She is soft-spoken, optimistic and speaks nonstop, as she rather likes the sound of her voice. Her demeanor is somewhat feminine. She is able to fit into much smaller and tighter spaces than normal.

History: Born to a Roofer, her father struggled to pay the bills. She always admired martial-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. She hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure her.

Motivation: Marry her brother to traveling adventurers; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark
