When her spouse passed she lost her only source of income but claims to her sons to still be retired.

Personality: She is quiet and anti-social and can barely make it a few minutes in conversation before her hampering stammer kicks in. She loves teas. She is very sensitive about her face. To blow off anger she lifts weights and to control her otherwise explosive temper she works out a lot.

History: When she was but 6 years old her parents immigrated from the south. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Half-Elves in Shava's homeland. Shava decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: Born in the north to a Sailor, Makaria learned a great deal about her mother's area of expertise. Her father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but she insists her father was legitimate. She tends to her Sailor job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations she has.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. He inherited a moderately successful company from his mother. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He now owns his own business.
