History: Dara was born into a poor family. Growing up, she dreamt of becoming a Monk, to bring honor to her family’s name. When she came of age, she applied for a position with her town's local guard, looking to work her way up via merit and eventually become a Monk in service of a powerful lord somewhere. She found a children's book about a Elf Monk who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. She modeled her life after the story, seeing herself destined a hero. She has dedicated herself to building a better village for her children.

History: Born in a small village she learned the ways of the warrior from her mother. She was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. She never won. She has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Adventurer. She hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.

Motivation: She would like to get married and retire; and wants her loneliness to end

Personality: He is a melancholic, but persistent worker. He resents family life and as such spurns the advances of admirers. He is obsessed with a lost civilization.

History: Born in the east to a Shoemaker, Thorpe learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. His father was a soldier and died while he was still young. Thorpe was left his father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.

Motivation: He wants random interesting trinkets and junk, hates to throw anything away; and wants to open a new tavern

Personality: She is a hateful person. She taunts others and blames them for her problems. She always tries to repair and not replace. It was this mentality that drove her into the Cartwright business.

History: Trained by her father for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. Her parents divorced when she was young, and her father gained full cudstody. She was regularly beaten by her father, who blamed her for driving them apart. She has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

Motivation: A strong sense of loyalty to Half-Elven people; and she wants nothing more than to rejoin the army
