His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the forest due to the painful memories there. Halander took refuge in the ruined castle and found the beat up greatsword and armor he uses now. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.

History: Kipper was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Bard, to bring honor to his family’s name. History: Cumpen hails from a village terrorized by giants. Her parents enrolled her in a Commoner school at a young age so that she could practice her druidic talents. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by giants. Cumpen was horrified and prayed that her mother was alright. However, she heard that her mother had died fighting off the giants.
