History: Balifra lived on a farm with her mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. She sought a place where she would be rewarded solely on the merits of her skills. This search led her directly into Knight work with an outfit from a few towns over. Knight work suited her well, and with each successful project, she earned more gold and more respect from her peers. Due to her spouse's obsession with being a Spy they were divorced and she won custody of their daughter. She worked as a Knight, and she later adopted a second daughter.

Personality: She misses her glory days as an athlete. She does not mind her job, but it is boring in comparison. She can see the true alignment of people by looking at them, and uses this to pass judgement.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Daar was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. Her spouse left her for another, whom she beat to an almost bloody pulp. She did not win them back, but she came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. She left for the north, certain she would find work there.

History: Her arcane talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, her parents had her trained. Her mother was a mechanic, and taught her how to fix just about anything. She became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Motivation: She desires power and/or immortality; and to reunite with her old friends

Personality: He has a very dry and sarcastic sense of humor. He is not one for noise or eating so much, which is in direct contrast with his big mouthed big gutted partner. His partner is his best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. He is however nostalgic and wants to reunite with his old comrades. He has some compunction and patriotism and will work for the government before all other clients.

History: He was born at the edge of vast mountains. While he appears to be a normal Tiefling, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

Motivation: He wants to meet his childhood hero; and he made a deal with a demon which lead to his current lot in life, and he's becoming increasingly nervous about it
