Her parents divorced when she was young, and her mother gained full cudstody. She was regularly beaten by her mother, who blamed her for driving them apart. After a long history of fighting, Pearl and her spouse have recently divorced.

As of late he has set up a hidden staging nest where he ambushes people he hires for escort.
