History: Born to a Bricklayer, his mother struggled to pay the bills. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.

History: Her mother raised her in a mountain cabin. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Navigator hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. She got away from her former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

Personality: She can speak with the recently deceased. She is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure she is not cheated out of a speck.

History: Therlin lived on a farm with her mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. When Therlin reached her early adolescence her Dwarf mother passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, she decided to travel. Her rounds led her into the Army with a few individuals who would become her life-long companions. She now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of her brother; and doesn't want to be a bookbinder and was forced into it by her family
