Hatae was left her father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: He believes mankind has become decadent and spoiled by the march of civilization and an end should come to life as we know it. Howard enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: Howard lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His father disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his father, he was betrayed dozens of times. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.

Motivation: Marry his sister to traveling adventurers; and find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister

History: Born in the east to a Bowyer, Harriet learned a great deal about her mother's area of expertise. Before the accident, she was one of the most outspoken anti-Half-Elven activists. She was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Half-Elven doctor. She's also a talented Unemployed, but doesn't like to broadcast it.
