History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Shamil grew up listening to her father's many stories. Her spouse left her for another, whom she beat to an almost bloody pulp. Recently a tribe of giants attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Shamil fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

She's since become an addict/alcoholic.

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her mother always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. Her parents divorced when she was young, and her mother gained full cudstody. She was regularly beaten by her mother, who blamed her for driving them apart. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to goblins demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: She is greedy; and her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by goblins, and she desires to right it

His golden hair is lengthy. Judging by the bloodshot nature of his eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine he has not slept for days.

Personality: He shows great sympathy to all travelers. He's the type to buy drinks and listen to their stories. He is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure he is not cheated out of a speck.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when drow swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. Enialis was orphaned to a temple shortly after his birth. He was raised by the temple staff to care always for others above himself and to hold his god always in his heart. He now spends his time doing works of charity.

Motivation: Retire the richest man in the north; and he is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs
