Personality: She likes to fabricate stories about her past exploits and how crazy she is, but in actuality she is rather bland. Around other people she will do her best to conceal her emotions and appear jolly.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Cumpen was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. A gifted student she started as a Performer, but she got bored and became a Weaver. She has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Weaver.

History: She was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. Through the years after Harann was born, her mother became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Harann's mother didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She has never given up on her writing dream.

History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. Cursed with lycanthropy at a very young age, Kriv has worked very hard to control his curse. He has achieved small success as a Bookbinder.
