History: He was born in the west, but his parents moved at a very young age to the east. His mother disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his mother, he was betrayed dozens of times. He has recently attracted an admirer that believes he's playing hard to get.

Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. He is kind towards other men and children and will generally offer men help without question. Others will generally need to prove themselves to him.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his mother and father. His mother taught him the rudiments of the Carter arts, while his father instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. His family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The mother sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. He saw this and took pride in his mother's willingness to do anything to win. He used his abilities to travel the world and help people.

History: A child with a great deal of poetry talent her parents made sure she got the chance to thrive. Her father was a soldier and died while she was still young. Ella was left her father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.
