History: Her history is one of pain. She was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves her parents kept. She was taken as a slave by a traveling circus and forced to perform Some 6 years later her spouse died after the birth of her son. Heartbroken, Verna never married again. Instead she focused her life to raising her son whom she trained as her father had trained her before.

She refers to her adoptive father for almost all things she is unsure about, which are numerous. She is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: She was born into a rich family. From there she went from mercenary job to mercenary job. She has since lost track of the people in her past.

Motivation: She's looking for her big break; and she wants nothing more than to rejoin the army

History: She was raised by priests from a young age. In her 11th year, her parents were killed by a gnolls raid, leaving Emen alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: She wants revenge against gnolls; and many gnolls want her driven away
