History: He was born at the edge of vast mountains. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He now owns his own business.

Motivation: He is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs; and obtaining odd cultural halfling artifacts is his passion

Description: A stocky darker skinned man, he wears dull grey sweaters, loose violet pants, and alligator leather shoes. Beneath his sweater he keeps a concealed mace, just in case. His auburn hair is lengthy. He has several tiny jet earrings on each ear.

Personality: Prone to second guessing himself, he comes off as nervous. He spends most of his days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There he gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: He is a Metallic Dragon in disguise. Being born in the east, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the east for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way west. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by giants, and he desires to right it; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark

Her gray eyes dart around the room hyper actively observing anyone and anything.

Personality: She is enamored with her job. She loves it. She likes the challenge and she likes helping those less fortunate than her. She is a bit of a macho woman and will challenge people to random contests of strength and skill, and invite them to random hunting and fishing trip.

History: She was born in the south, but her parents moved at a very young age to the east. She took every job she could get her hands on, but the opportunities for Gnomes in the south were limited. She struck the Mortician job and began her own company from there.
