Personality: She is almost excessively polite to everyone, even when angry. She is a ruthless business woman, a trait she acquired from her mother.

History: Born to a poor family in the city she treasured whatever gifts she got. In her youth she was part of a gang. She got caught, but did not rat out her comrades and served her time in prison. Being a Spice Merchant kept her interest for a while, but then she became depressed and bored. So she turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

Motivation: Someone believes her a fraud; and she is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences her actions

Description: He is a mite stocky and is constantly adorned with expensive silk clothing, often dyed in bright brown and grey, and wears rings and necklaces with large, colorful gems. His silver hair is cut short with large spiked bangs in the front. He wears large thick round spectacles.

Personality: He is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of his strength. He works very hard to maintain that gentleness. He has a hair trigger and will fly into rage over the tiniest perceived slights.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. Cursed with a spirit at a very young age, Tim has worked very hard to control his curse. During his travels, Tim and his party rested in a cavern that was (unknown to them) infused with powerful dark magic. Upon awakening, Tim discovered the rest of his party dead, transformed into horrible, mindless undead versions of their former selves. Tim fled the cavern, stopping for breath at a small pool, and only then realizing his own horrible transformation.

Description: This woman is bedraggled and starved. She wears a grey coat over a black low-cut shirt, and a deerstalker hat upon her head. She has slicked back brown hair. Her amber eyes dart from person to person to random spaces in the air.

Personality: Abrasive and pushy, she has a hard time making friends. She is kind towards other women and children and will generally offer women help without question. Others will generally need to prove themselves to her.

History: She was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. Through the years after Artin was born, her father became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Artin's father didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Description: This man is renowned for his bright grey suits and hats. He is muscular with a powerful set of arms. His chestnut hair is well kept and his bushy mustache is tapered upwards at the ends. His eyes are green and he is always smoking a pipe.

Personality: He is quite rude, and likes to deride his opponents skill and shout insults at them. He refers to his adoptive father for almost all things he is unsure about, which are numerous. He is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: Born in the east to a Layabout, Harbek learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Layabout. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Motivation: Wants his loneliness to end; and wants to open a new tavern
