History: Born in the north to a Dyer, Traubon learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Personality: She barks her statements quickly and with little fuss. She prefers small words and is at her heart utilitarian. She is a logical person and will generally grow upset if things defy logic and science.

History: Mumpena hails from a village terrorized by drow. She went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to drow demanding more tribute than usual.

History: Pyntle hails from a village terrorized by brigands. In her 18th year, while out on a day-trip, she returned to find her hometown burning and destroyed. She found her father impaled in their home, and her mother beheaded. She saw the woman who walked out, and charged her in a blind rage. The woman easily evaded and defeated her, leaving her to live broken and terrified. She has dedicated herself to building a better trade route.
