Liftrasa's mother didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. After a long history of fighting, Liftrasa and her spouse have recently divorced.

History: She was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Murgen grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Murgen. She now travels the world, in search of power and loot.
