History: He comes from a rich northern family. He helped his father out around the business and became quite the natural. He has achieved small success as a Miner.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge; and he wants revenge against gnolls

History: Aline was born the youngest of three triplets. Being born in the west, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the west for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way south. She has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

Motivation: To pay off her debts; and doesn't want to be a bookbinder and was forced into it by her family
