History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her mother always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. Through the years after Ovak was born, her mother became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Ovak's mother didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: She was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. Being born in the west, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the west for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way north. She now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Personality: He snorts whenever he laughs or is feeling confident. He also is a firm believer in the manly ideal.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

History: Theirastra was raised in a hard working conservative environment. Her mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted her to inherit them. She struck the Sage job and began her own company from there.
