History: She was born to loving parents in a slum to the west. In her 14th year, her parents were killed by a dire rats raid, leaving Herleva alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by dire rats. Herleva was horrified and prayed that her father was alright. However, she heard that her father had died fighting off the dire rats.

Motivation: Many dire rats want her driven away.

History: Naeris lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Unemployed work with an outfit from a few towns over. Unemployed work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Description: She appears as an extremely gaunt Tabaxi, and stands approximately 6'4". She wears very tight pants and wife beaters, though occasionally she sports a pastel coat, and her gloved hand is found clutching a morningstar. Her white fur is kept up in a ponytail inside a deerstalker hat. She has several tiny ruby earrings on each ear.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Kite embodies much of what other species detest in the Tabaxis. She is an amazing painter.

History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Kite was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. Kite abandoned her home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. She survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. She did whatever it took for her to survive. She has built up a small fortune and can afford her own way.

Motivation: Meet up once more with her childhood friend; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark

Description: A man with a warm, jovial air about him, he wears tight fitting pants and leather jackets. He usually doesn't wear a shirt. His black hair is lengthy and is close to two feet long. He has several tiny amethyst earrings on each ear.

Personality: He is quiet and reserved most of the time, but warms up to people very quickly. Around friends he is liable to tell dirty jokes and enjoy himself. More though he will beg to come along on any journeys. He will attempt to stowaway on any ship he can in the hopes that it will get him further away.

History: He was born in the west, but his parents moved at a very young age to the north. He was taken from his home at a very young age. Some 6 years later his spouse died after the birth of his daughter. Heartbroken, Rolen never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his daughter whom he trained as his father had trained him before.

Motivation: To find somewhere to settle down; and to end his boredom
