History: He was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. Mâku was born on a far southern plains where he grew up under the tutelage of his mother, an expert Engraver. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

History: Keyleth was born in the east. At a young age she loved to build and create. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Scribe. She tends to her Scribe job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations she has.
