His uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took him in and had him trained in basic self defense. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Fletcher for the past few years.

Description: She wears an old set of leather armor, nicked and torn by the ravages of time and battle. Her skin is fair and her fingers are delicate and long. She sports a flattop hair cut. Her brown eyes lackadaisically let the world flow into them.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Sarah embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. She is often prim and proper but will on occasion tell either really disgusting or offensive jokes, which seem out of character.

History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when brigands swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. Through the years after Sarah was born, her father became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Sarah's father didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by brigands. Sarah was horrified and prayed that her mother was alright. However, she heard that her mother had died fighting off the brigands.

Motivation: Her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by brigands, and she desires to right it; and she wants revenge against brigands

Personality: She is happy with her job as a Fletcher. She turns her eye from what people do, preferring to live and let live. She works hard and plays hard.

History: The child of southern immigrants she idolized her mother. In her formative years she discovered how persuasive she was. She began using that to her advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. She tends to her Fletcher job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations she has.

Motivation: She has decided she is irredeemable; and to be a adventurer again

Personality: He is business-like. He takes instructions and follows them to the letter. He is always in debt, since he spends his money on lavish parties and gifts for friends

History: Born to a Carpenter, his father struggled to pay the bills. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He hasn't been sleeping well lately.

Motivation: To prove his worth to the world; and he is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally
