Personality: She hates dire rats. She views them as having robbed her home of its proper glory. She would rather hide behind her crafts than deal with other people.

History: She is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. She struck it rich when she found rare goods in large quantities. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Katherine was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. Before the accident, she was one of the most outspoken anti-Halfling activists. She was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Halfling doctor. She now mingles about in high society.
