History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. His mother disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his mother, he was betrayed dozens of times. By chance he met his brother recently and the two have been together since.

She is however nostalgic and wants to reunite with her old comrades. She has some compunction and patriotism and will work for the government before all other clients.

History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Cumpen was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. She found a children's book about a Gnome Fighter who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. She modeled her life after the story, seeing herself destined a hero.
