Description: A 6'10" eastern man, he is renowned for his bright green suits and hats. His hair is greying and his face has many wrinkles. He wears large thick round spectacles.

Personality: He is filled with cunning. He likes to feign weakness letting people think he is weak. His actions favor neither the good nor the evil, as he answers to a power that mortal men fail to acknowledge.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when giants swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the island to a summer home near a large cave. He would wander through that large cave and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the island due to the painful memories there. Balam took refuge in the large cave and found the beat up nunchaku and armor he uses now. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by giants. Balam was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the giants.

History: The child of a Layabout, who enjoyed hunting, Mary was taken on many hunting expeditions. A gifted student she started as a Layabout, but she got bored and became a Masseuse. She inherited the family business which she has now maintained for 8 years.

Personality: Stoic and calm, she prefers to meditate than take action. She loves being with her children and actually smiles when they are around. She would do anything for them. She dislikes her ex a great deal.

History: She was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. In her formative years she discovered how persuasive she was. She began using that to her advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. When her spouse passed she lost her only source of income but claims to her sons to still be retired.

Motivation: Marry her sister to traveling adventurers; and to fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever

Personality: He is business-like. He takes instructions and follows them to the letter. He is frequently practicing swordplay.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his mother. Nutae was born on a far western plains where he grew up under the tutelage of his mother, an expert Fisher. Recently a tribe of orcs attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Nutae fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: He is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out.
