Travok was left his mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Blacksmith they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Bricklayer, and he later adopted a second daughter.

She advanced relatively quickly due to her good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. Some 7 years later her spouse died after the birth of her son. Heartbroken, Alain never married again. Instead she focused her life to raising her son whom she trained as her father had trained her before.
