History: Born in the north to a Layabout, Barendd learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. Like his father and his brother before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Layabout. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Description: This malnourished woman likes to wear darkened spectacles and heavy clothing, no matter the weather. Her hair is always cut to a buzz. Her hazel eyes show the wear and tear of someone lonely with a great burden to carry.

Personality: She tends to agree with only herself unless someone else's opinion sounds like she can profit from it. She tries to control her temper but she can't always stop herself from what she feels what must be done. Traulam is a bit of a follower. Usually she is manipulated by her sisters into helping them out, but recently she has become more of a free agent.

History: She was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for her. It may also be what makes her so good at details. Her father disappeared, and while she tried to raise money to find her father, she was betrayed dozens of times. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: An old rival family wants her found; and to get a good night's sleep

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her mother always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. She moved from fad to fad and when she turned 15 she discovered writing. She has never given up on her writing dream.
