History: Vani was born into a poor family. Growing up, she dreamt of becoming a Warlock, to bring honor to her family’s name. When she came of age, she applied for a position with her town's local guard, looking to work her way up via merit and eventually become a Warlock in service of a powerful lord somewhere. She found a children's book about a Halfling Warlock who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. History: Theobald was born in the north. At a young age he loved to build and create. A freak accident while working with his Crown-heir father left him crippled. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.
