History: Aym was born into a poor family. Growing up, she dreamt of becoming a Ranger, to bring honor to her family’s name. When she came of age, she applied for a position with her town's local guard, looking to work her way up via merit and eventually become a Ranger in service of a powerful lord somewhere. She moved from fad to fad and when she turned 15 she discovered poetry. During her travels, Aym and her party rested in a cavern that was (unknown to them) infused with powerful dark magic. Upon awakening, Aym discovered the rest of her party dead, transformed into horrible, mindless undead versions of their former selves. Aym fled the cavern, stopping for breath at a small pool, and only then realizing her own horrible transformation.

History: The child of a Knight, who enjoyed hunting, Emmeline was taken on many hunting expeditions. Emmeline liked to wander the woods near her home when she was young, something she still likes to do at least once a week. She never liked modest clothing or shoes, so she would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and she developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.
