Description: An older man who wears rags and sports a simple walking cane, he is not a threatening figure. He has a long golden beard with little hanging trinkets. His otherwise smooth face is marked with small tiny scars.
Personality: He will use flattery and sarcasm to attack and weaken his opponents. Despite his formidable combat skills he remains a coward. He can see the true alignment of people by looking at them, and uses this to pass judgement.
History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. Don was born on a far eastern island where he grew up under the tutelage of his father, an expert Bookbinder. He became a Bookbinder soon after.
Motivation: Wants to raise his children well; and balancing his hectic life and new bookbinder responsibilities is difficult

Description: He likes to wear brown tank tops with tan pants. He has relatively light skin and is very physically imposing due to his abundance of muscles. He wears a deerstalker hat to cover his moderate length auburn hair. His face is covered beneath a completely black helmet.
Personality: He is highly sensitive about his name. He loathes it, but will not take any guff about it from anyone. He dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. His biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.
History: Duergath lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He was taken as a slave by a traveling circus and forced to perform He has since lost track of the people in his past.
Motivation: He is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out; and regain custody of his son

Description: This younger middle-aged man is well dressed, but even with his fine clothing he looks run-down, and a wedding ring on his left hand. He wears a small hat to cover his moderate length red fur. He has a tattooed face.
Personality: He cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with his opinion, he thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, he can get violently argumentative. He cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist he will grow angry at them.
History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature longsword.
Motivation: He wants to meet his childhood hero; and he desires power and/or immortality

Personality: Prone to second guessing herself, she comes off as nervous. She is always in debt, since she spends her money on lavish parties and gifts for friends
History: Antinua was born to in a poor docking district. She spent her early days working in the same smith shop her mother was employed at, doing general labor. In her formative years she discovered how persuasive she was. She began using that to her advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. She now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.
Motivation: To prove her worth to the world; and retire the richest woman in the north
