History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Carlin was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. Ostracized due to the druidic powers of her oldest brother, she and her siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Gnomes became a terror of the countryside. She has became unsatisfied with her lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

Personality: He is witty, but his monotone delivery comes off as unnerving The war was a terrible time for him, and Rael does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. His father was a soldier and died while he was still young. Rael was left his father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He was granted martial powers by his dying brother.

Motivation: He loathes his own lifestyle; and he wants nothing more than to rejoin the army

History: He was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. Tomi was born on a far northern forest where he grew up under the tutelage of his mother, an expert Shoemaker. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

Description: A woman with a friendly, welcoming air about her, she wears an old set of leather armor, nicked and torn by the ravages of time and battle. Her hair, while still mostly auburn, has prominent grey streaks. Her violet eyes lackadaisically let the world flow into them.

Personality: She tends to agree with only herself unless someone else's opinion sounds like she can profit from it. She tries to control her temper but she can't always stop herself from what she feels what must be done. She passes on several rewards to people in need. She makes a point to leave places better than she found them.

History: Tomph lived on a farm with her father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Her father disappeared, and while she tried to raise money to find her father, she was betrayed dozens of times. She has been saving her money to try and buy her brother's freedom.

Motivation: Marry her brother to traveling adventurers.
