Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic woman, Audhild's first love is herself. Her second love is also herself. Any perceived weakness will be pressed and exploited. She is seen as merciless and passionate.

History: She was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Audhild grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Audhild. She has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.

History: Her father raised her in a mountain cabin. There was a wharf not far from home where she often wandered off to fish. She's since become an addict/alcoholic.

Personality: Cocky and sure of himself, he believes he is the best Shoemaker born in the past three hundred years. He is a great chef.

History: Pandjed was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Ranger, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Ranger in service of a powerful lord somewhere. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Shoemaker hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.

This green eyed easterner is not easily forgotten.

Personality: While he acts the brute, he is far gentler than he would appear. Animals are drawn to him, and he is able to talk to them.

History: He comes from a rich eastern family. His mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. In his journeys he found a malevolent artifact. He wishes to return this artifact and its corrupting influence back to where it came.
