History: River was raised in a hard working conservative environment. River liked to wander the woods near his home when he was young, something he still likes to do at least once a week. He never liked modest clothing or shoes, so he would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and he developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Nuraval was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. In his 10th year, his parents were killed by a drow raid, leaving Nuraval alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He was granted necromantic powers by his dying brother.

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her mother always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. When the war came and ruined her parents she was left adrift. She was a hard woman then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. She has since married many spouses, only to have them die. She claims to not be responsible.
