Personality: He hates goblins. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. He is a big fan of imagination and believes people should spend more time reading and writing.

History: Born in the north to a Painter, Akmen learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. In his 10th year, his parents were killed by a goblins raid, leaving Akmen alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.
