History: Oppleby was born the youngest of three triplets. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

A serious injury left her mother unemployed and in need of constant care. Her family became saddled with debt trying to care for her infirm mother.
