History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. Brilliant and gifted he never wanted to apply himself. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by gnolls, and he desires to right it; and he has money and likes to spend it

Description: She does not wear sleeves and tends to eschew shirts when she can avoid it. She has a moderate pudge and is not very fit. Her brown hair is greying along the sides and has receded to reveal a widow's peak. Her green eyes have a joyful gleam in them most of the time.

Personality: She is intelligent and cunning, but she will too often allow her rage to get the better of her. She will lose her cool and rely on brute force to carry the day. She is motivated by money and will often try and persuade people to work for cheap. She haggles over everything, upselling her goods and buying cheap. She is persistent in everything.

History: Her father raised her in a mountain cabin. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Marastyr grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Marastyr. She now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: She is compelled to act according to her religious beliefs; and she is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences her actions

Description: He wears a tattered pair of loose blue pants, a matching torn shirt, and a visible pair of similar condition same color briefs, but does not cut a very imposing figure. He walks with a slouch but will stand straight to his full 5'5" when asserting himself. His auburn hair is greying along the sides and has receded to reveal a widow's peak. His eyes are brown and catlike.

Personality: His voice, at times compared to that of a Nymph, lambasts those who consider themselves "civilized" with snide, belittling remarks; the subtle growl he speaks with growing louder in doing so, one can find it most pronounced, despite the otherwise natural purity of his tone. His philosophy is that everyone needs a friend and as such shows hospitality towards all.

History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. A freak accident while working with his Ploughman father left him crippled. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

Personality: River is depressed about a lot of things. She tends to be a nihilist. She will pursue extreme courses of action in the short term, confident that they cannot fail.

History: She served in the navy to pay for her family's outstanding loans. She struck it rich when she found rare goods in large quantities. She now mingles about in high society.
