History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Quarethon was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. His father was a mechanic, and taught him how to fix just about anything. Recently a tribe of goblins attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Quarethon fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: She was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. She was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. Her spouse died of illness and she inherited everything. She ran away from her former home and has been making her living as a Fortune-teller for the past few years.

Motivation: Balancing her hectic life and new Fortune-teller responsibilities is difficult; and sabotage a competitor

History: A powerful slaver made her what she is. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Carter. She now owns her own business.
