Personality: She considers herself the protector of her home. She feels this is her duty and calling. She is used to getting what she wants. In part because she is a meticulous planner.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Hlin grew up listening to her mother's many stories. She inherited a moderately successful company from her mother. Under her leadership it has flourished, and using capital from her venture she effectively owns an entire region. She has built up a small fortune and can afford her own way.

Beneath her clothing is a huge mess of scar tissue. She wears a Stetson hat to hide her balding. She wears crescent spectacles with a black brim.

Personality: She hates illithids. She views them as having robbed her home of its proper glory. She is able to fit into much smaller and tighter spaces than normal.

History: She was born in a small plains village. At some point she was captured by illithids and was tortured. After several years of this she finally managed to escape. She was forced to fight in gladiatorial arenas alongside her partner. They became the best of friends and one day they managed to break out together and then went their separate ways.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. He was one of the best in his class, and was picked up by his current employer. He quickly showed his capability and was soon promoted to a head role. He's also a talented Spice Merchant, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Motivation: To reunite with his absent mother; and sabotage a competitor

Personality: She cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with her opinion, she thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, she can get violently argumentative. She is always in debt, since she spends her money on lavish parties and gifts for friends

History: She was born on a small isolated farm. Her mother was a mechanic, and taught her how to fix just about anything. She has built up a small fortune and can afford her own way.
