History: Born in the north to a Bather, Nim learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. His mother was a soldier and died while he was still young. Nim was left his mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He was always very intelligent and has formed a secret society of specialists.

Motivation: Many brigands want him driven away; and sabotage a competitor

Personality: He has schizophrenia that causes him to hear things that aren't there and will sometimes respond to them. He also is a firm believer in the manly ideal.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. Being born in the north, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way south. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother.

Personality: She is calm most of the time but flees social interaction. She does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of drow may trigger it at times.

History: Her mother raised her in a mountain cabin. In her 14th year, her parents were killed by a drow raid, leaving Panana alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She's since become an addict/alcoholic.

Motivation: Seeks redemption; and her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by drow, and she desires to right it
