In her 15th year, her parents were killed by a goblins raid, leaving Cloak alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She left for the south, certain she would find work there.

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her mother always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. Through the years after Myev was born, her mother became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Myev's mother didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She remains aloof and afraid to be herself due to all the ideals others have placed upon her.
