History: Born in the west to a Assassin, Tordrid learned a great deal about her mother's area of expertise. She made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. She has since lost track of the people in her past.

Motivation: She feels the way she acts is they only way to get by in the world; and find a way to reverse the transformation of her brother

History: She was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Antinua grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Antinua.
