Personality: She likes to fabricate stories about her past exploits and how crazy she is, but in actuality she is rather bland. Her respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to her, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, she tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in her reactions to snap at those who irritate her, Ulla is combative with any and all who dare try her patience in the slightest.

History: She was born several months after her mother was called into army service. When Ulla reached her early adolescence her Gnome mother passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, she decided to travel. Her rounds led her into the Army with a few individuals who would become her life-long companions. She now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

History: River was raised in a hard working conservative environment. In her youth she was a Navigator, and wanted to be a champion fighter when she grew up. She was working during a period of war, and as one of the natives she lived in fear of joining the others in being slaughtered. She saw the brutality and swore off her fighting aspirations, taking her younger brother on her back after seeing her parents die, and fled the country. She tends to her Knight job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations she has.

History: Thorin was born in the west. At a young age he loved to build and create. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He tends to his Carter job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.
