History: Baern hails from a village terrorized by giants. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. He now owns his own business.

His hair is long and brown with streaks of auburn, and is pulled back with small yellow clips. His beard is auburn, braided, and well cared for. He has blue eyes and a yellow hat with a grey feather.

Personality: He is very quiet and rarely speaks above a whisper. He is used to getting what he wants. In part because he is a meticulous planner.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his father. A few years later when the east was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He left for the south, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: To reunite with his absent father; and find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister

Description: This woman is tall and muscular. She does not wear sleeves and tends to eschew shirts when she can avoid it. She wears a broad hat to cover her moderate length brown hair. Her eyes, though not visible through her cowl, are gray.

Personality: Abrasive and pushy, she has a hard time making friends. She claims to be unscrupulous but at the end of the day she will do what she thinks is right.

History: Her history is one of pain. She was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves her parents kept. She dropped out of school before completing her studies. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: She is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get her out.

Description: Her left thumb is blackened and bruised, but otherwise she appears quite healthy. She is dressed in earthy colors with a tan and pastel handkerchief worn on her left side. She has styled her chestnut hair well, parting it to the left. She has a dull look in her gray eyes.

Personality: A deeply religious woman she believes everything happens for a reason. To her fellows she is seen as friendly and intelligent, but is angry and unforgiving to the so called fatcats and any who do and have associated with them.

History: She was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. At a young age her father died while driving off some dire rats. Her mother being the stubborn sort decided to stay and helped train her in sai use. Recently a tribe of dire rats attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Malquis fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Bather and was forced into it by her family; and revenge
