History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. He has had some formal dancing training, and achieved minor success. He has never given up on his dancing dream.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and to prove his worth to the world

Personality: He trusts no one. He is not readily capable for forgiveness and his ire never leaves him. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Bertram is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He tends to his Crown-heir job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.
