History: Alston lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

Personality: He is a jovial happy person, but he is convinced people are living their lives too quickly. He is lazy and tries to find solutions quickly.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. His mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He now mingles about in high society.

History: He was born in the north. As a young child he wandered into the woods despite his mother's warnings against it. Afterwards he claimed he had encountered drow who tried to eat his hand. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: Someone believes him a fraud; and several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge

Description: He is a pot bellied western man with a big hulking figure and broad shoulders. He does not wear sleeves and tends to eschew shirts when he can avoid it. He has wavy cinnamon fur. His face is covered beneath a completely black helmet.

Personality: He is erratic and paranoid. He believes giants are coming to abduct people. He is fiercely devoted to his mother, and views his mother's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-brother.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. In his 18th year, his parents were killed by a giants raid, leaving Shivering alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Wants to work out more often.
