History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. In his 14th year, his parents were killed by a gnolls raid, leaving Oren alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by gnolls. Oren was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the gnolls.

She was an adventurer many years ago and she formed a blood bond with her Gnomish companion (her 'brother'). She has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.

Motivation: She is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences her actions; and she possesses a valuable artifact that the thieves guild wishes to steal
