History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. Her father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but she insists her father was legitimate. Unlike her family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, she wanted to work in the city. He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way west. By chance he met his brother recently and the two have been together since.

Some 2 years later her spouse died after the birth of her son. Heartbroken, Lagazi never married again. Instead she focused her life to raising her son whom she trained as her mother had trained her before.
