History: Born in the west to a Spice Merchant, Megren learned a great deal about her father's area of expertise. Her psionic abilities were realized during a raid on her village. She struck the Spice Merchant job and began her own company from there.

Motivation: She is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences her actions; and a rival would like her out of the picture

History: Born in the south his family was never financially stable. His father was a soldier and died while he was still young. Qualen was left his father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He has achieved small success as a Detective.

Motivation: He wants to meet his childhood hero; and balancing his hectic life and new detective responsibilities is difficult
