This search led him directly into Miner work with an outfit from a few towns over. Miner work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Miner for hire.

Personality: He loves telling others what to do and how they should feel about things. He does not believe in violence as a means to an end. He is a dedicated Courier but believes his peers are too gung-ho.

History: His mother raised him in a mountain cabin. He always admired martial-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. He bought a bastard sword and has really upped his game hunting, due to his understanding of decoy and ambush.

Motivation: Meet up once more with his childhood friend.

Personality: She can speak with the dead, and doesn't see much difference between the living and dead. The war was a terrible time for her, and Jacoba does not often speak of it. When she does, she does so with a strained expression and tears in her eyes.

History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. After coming to the age of reason, Jacoba took it upon herself to study the martial arts in their entirety; because of this, she was labeled a dark omen and banished from her homeland. She has been saving her money to try and buy her brother's freedom.

Personality: He fancies himself a trickster and likes to rely on his wits to carry the day. He cares for his older siblings and likes to be recognized by them. He always tries to repair and not replace. It was this mentality that drove him into the Shoemaker business.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the east. His first spouse was a Courier, they had one daughter, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

Motivation: He's looking for his big break; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark
